CAMBODIAN FM BRIEFS U.N. ON ITS EFFORTS TO EASE TENSION AND REBUILD RELATIONS WITH THAILAND On the afternoon of September 26, 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, on the sidelines of the General Debate of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States of America. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister provided updates on the latest developments concerning border disputes with Thailand. He reiterated Cambodia’s commitment to making every effort to de-escalate tensions, rebuild trust, and fully and sincerely implement the recent agreements aimed at returning to normalcy Cambodia–Thailand’s bilateral relations.
